Wooooooo! We’ve got a date with Diamond Dave in Greensboro!
The girl has no idea what she’s in for but Mr. and I are so fucking excited!
Sis just called, too. Shins tickets went on sale this morning so she’s going to try and get those. We saw them together last year with Belle and Sebastian at the Hollywood Bowl and it was awesome. Belle and Sebastian were incredible too – they played with the LA Philharmonic. We had seen them a few years ago at a smallish club here and it was brilliant but having an orchestra backing them, the stars above and a really great crowd all around was indescribable. The Shins were the perfect opener for that show and I am sure they are going to be even better in a more intimate setting.
