Ho ho ho

Y’all, my knitting has gone to shit. I threw some Black Water Abbey across the living room last night and gave up on my well intentioned cabling extravaganza. It’s not the yarn’s fault in any way. I love that yarn. I like the crispness and the color and everything but I am going to have to work it when no one is around - which will likely never happen in this house. Once the holidays are over I may feel differently. Right now there isn’t enough time, the house is too small and there are too many things to do and I absolutely hate this time of year. I’d like to go to sleep say, three weeks ago and awake in the spring. Meh.
